Position: Part-Time Competitive Program Youth Coach

Location: Palm Coast, FL

Hours: Part-time (evenings & weekends required)

About the Role

As a Competitive Program Youth Coach, you will be responsible for leading training sessions, coaching games, and creating a fun, challenging, and development-focused environment for players ages 8–18. You’ll work within our club methodology and collaborate with Directors to help players reach their potential on and off the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and run high-quality, age-appropriate training sessions aligned with club curriculum

• Coach teams during league games, tournaments, and events

• Communicate effectively with players and families while upholding Club standards

• Support player development through consistent feedback, evaluation, and mentorship

• Work collaboratively with Directors and other staff to ensure developmental consistency

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture

Qualifications

• Prior coaching experience with youth soccer (preferred)

• Strong knowledge of the game and passion for youth development

• Ability to follow a structured methodology and developmental pathway

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to the mission of Sporting Palm Coast

• USSF Grassroots license or higher (or willingness to obtain with club support)
