Primary Function The Head Coach provides leadership and organization for all aspects of the Sport program, including monitoring both the academic and social development of the student-athletes; observing, evaluating and recruiting student-athletes; developing a schedule for competition; and directing Assistant Coaching staff. The Coach promotes a culture of respect, inclusivity, sportsmanship, and student-athlete well-being consistent with university values and Title IX requirements. The Head Coach is responsible for following the University’s coaching guidelines and expectations including the rules and regulations of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and Heart of America Conference as an affiliate member.
