Job Summary: The Assistant Coach of Women's Rugby assists in all aspects of the intercollegiate Women's Rugby team including practice planning, game strategy, team travel and other team events when appropriate.
The hourly range for this position is expected to be: $18.00/per hour
Education/Skills Requirements: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field is strongly preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Knowledge of Rugby strategy and training methods and ability to effectively teach them
ability to motivate and effectively communicate with student-athletes
commitment to being a positive member of the Athletics Department, the college community and the ability to influence his/her athletes to do the same
working knowledge of NCAA and NESCAC rules and an understanding of the philosophy behind them.
The coach must be self directed and motivated and be able to work independently and work in a stressful environment
Valid driver's license and ability to meet the standards of the College's current Motor Vehicle Policy required.
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification must be maintained. Subject to pre-placement physical and criminal background check.

This is a casual, part-time, non-benefit eligible position working 10-15hrs/wk in season.
Mostly weekday afternoons and early evenings for practices.
Weekend hours for practices and matches. Other hours as required by the Head Coach
