East Texas A&M is seeking an Associate level Athletic Trainer (2-3 years minimum Division 1 experience, preferably with Basketball). This individual will serve as the primary Athletic Trainer for Women's Basketball & Cross Country teams. It is required all staff Athletic Trainers have NATABOC credential as well as Texas State Licensure (or eligible to apply for Texas State Licensure). Preferred experience for candidates includes previous exposure to Collegiate Basketball, CPR/AED & First AID instructor training, Inventory Management/Teamworks Platform as well as Smartabase EMR (or other comparable platforms), communication with Sports Performance Coaches/Team Physicians/Administrators/Physical Therapists and other Healthcare professionals. This staff member is anticipated to serve as the senior clinician in the soon to open Rene' Griffin Event Center (expected opening February 2027) which will be home to both Men's & Women's Basketball at ETAMU. This facility will include a new 2000sq ft Athletic Training Room, with Physicians Exam room and Hydro therapy area with 2 Hydroworx pools and wet room for practice prep.
