Emmanuel University, located in northeast GA, is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer to begin July 1, 2026.
The Assistant Athletic Trainer works under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer and supervises the care of student athletes competing in Emmanuel University’s NCAA Division 11 athletic programs. The Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, management, and rehabilitation of injuries within the University’s comprehensive sports medicine program.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses.
Counseling and Educating student athletes.
Athletic training administrative duties.
Covering home and away trip events for high risk sports and post-season national events.
Supervising and Educating athletic training intern students.
Working with doctors and other allied health professionals to deliver quality care to student athletes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate area of specialization required, with professional experience in collegiate athletics. preferred. Master’s acceptable but not required.
Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATA BOC).
State Athletic Training Licensure.
Familiarity with NCAA governing rules.
