The CWU Department of Athletics supports the athletic, academic, and personal success of more than 400 student-athletes. Sponsoring 11 sports, the campus hosts many athletics events throughout the year that welcome thousands of fans from the Ellensburg community and beyond. Our on-campus facilities include our football stadium, track and field facility, basketball venue, as well as softball and baseball fields.
The Ticketing Graduate Assistant will support the University Director of Ticketing in the operation of the Athletic Ticket Office for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This position will promote the Central Washington brand in an effort to increase attendance, generate revenue and maximize the game-day fan experience.
Our goal is to provide this Graduate Assistant with a comprehensive experience in all facets of ticket including outbound and inbound call management, marketing, engagement, worker supervision, and database management.
Applicants must agree to follow all NCAA, GNAC and CWU polices. Strong communication skills, experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, excellent written and oral communication skills, a self- starter, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are important.
This position is a two-year-long graduate assistantship with a tuition waiver and stipend. The position begins September to June each school year. Employment is contingent upon proof of admission to Graduate School at Central Washington University.
Game Day Ticketing
Assist with day-to-day operations of ticket office
Run box office at CWU Athletic home events
Assist ticket operations for theater and orchestra events as requested
Market marquee games to database to increase attendance
Season Tickets
Provide customer service to season ticket holders
Send outbound emails promoting season ticket programs and benefits
Solicit new season ticket holders
Administrative Duties
Manage ticketing software data
Generate reports and analyze data
Send marketing emails
Manage recruitment and scheduling of student workers to manage all events
