The University of Mary Washington, an NCAA Division III institution located in historic and vibrant Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a part time assistant coach. Graduate tuition remission may be possible after one year of employment. Coaching Athletic Assistant duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the head coach with practice and game preparation and coaching, recruiting, academics, fundraising, and the off-season program.
Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications
Great organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills along with sound judgement.
Ability to recruit, retain, and graduate quality student-athletes.
Ability to be a great role model for our student-athletes.
Demonstrated ability to align with the mission of the University and serve as a prominent advocate for the University.
Required Experience:
Minimal 1-2 years of collegiate coaching / recruiting experience.
Minimal 1-2 years of coaching club soccer.
Required Licensure:
CPR/First Aid Certification.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience.
Master's degree or equivalent training and experience.
