The Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach assists in the overall organization, and administration of Mansfield University’s NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Program. Duties may include (but are not limited to): recruiting student athletes within the rules and philosophy of the NCAA, PSAC and Mansfield; evaluating player talent – both academically and athletically; emphasizing academic priorities to student athletes; helping to organize/conduct all practices; scouting and providing appropriate strategy for competitive (game) success; related administrative tasks; assisting with fundraising initiatives; and maintaining appropriate communication with students, other coaches, university staff, parents, and alumni.
Previous Soccer playing or coaching experience and possession of a valid driver’s license.
Certification in CPR and First Aid within six months of the commencement of employment and must maintain certification during employment.
The Mansfield Mountaineers or Mounties represent the Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, located in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Mountaineers are members of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) for eleven varsity sports. Mansfield University Sprint Football team participates in the Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL). Mansfield have been members of the PSAC since its foundation in 1951.
