The Graduate Assistant Coach for Softball will assist with the administration, coaching, and day?to?day operations of the Bryant University softball program while gaining practical experience in NCAA Division I coaching and program management.

GA compensation includes a full tuition waiver, housing, and a $1,500.00 stipend in Spring and Fall semesters starting August 1. Graduate School is a 2?year part?time program beginning August 2026 through August 2028.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the Head Coach with on?field instruction and player development during practices and competitions
• Supporting the planning and execution of training sessions, skill development drills, and team preparation
• Assisting with game?day coaching responsibilities, including pre?game preparation, in?game support, and post?game activities
• Supporting recruiting efforts, including identifying prospective student?athletes, communication, evaluations, and visits in accordance with NCAA, conference, and institutional rules
• Assisting with video breakdown, scouting reports, and opponent analysis
• Supporting team operations including travel coordination, equipment management, and practice scheduling
• Assisting with academic monitoring and student?athlete support initiatives
• Helping maintain compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional policies
• Assisting with administrative duties such as record keeping, documentation, practice planning materials, and meeting notes
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Head Coach

This position requires significant availability on nights, weekends, and during travel in alignment with practice and competition schedules.
