Summary: The Graduate Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach with the daily operations of the designated program, including practice preparation, student-athlete development, administrative support, recruiting assistance, and other duties as assigned. Tuition (up to 18 credit hours per year) and monthly stipend provided.
Job Responsibilities: * Assists with practice planning and on-field coaching instruction. * Supports student-athlete development and academic success. * Assists with recruiting operations, including communication and visit coordination. * Helps coordinate team activities, including practices, workouts, travel, meals, and events. * Assists with equipment, team operations, film break down, and other administrative responsibilities. * Participates in community engagement and program outreach activities. * Supports the program’s compliance with University, Conference, and NCAA policies and procedures. * Represents Saint Louis University and the athletics program in a professional manner. * Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: * Strong communication and organizational skills. * Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, staff, and student-athletes. * Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn. * Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality. * Basic computer and technology proficiency required including Google Drive, Spiideo, and similar applications.
