The Graduate Assistant Golf Coach supports the head coach in all aspects of managing a collegiate golf program. This role combines Christian leadership, coaching, administrative responsibilities, driving a 15-passenger van, and mentorship of student-athletes.
• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices, training sessions, and match preparation • Provide technical instruction and skill development for student-athletes • Support strength, conditioning, and injury prevention programs • Analyze player performance and contribute to match strategy • Assist with recruiting efforts, including scouting and communication with prospective student-athletes • Help organize team travel, scheduling, and logistics • Monitor academic progress and promote student-athlete success • Ensure compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations • Assist with camps, clinics, and community engagement activities • Perform administrative duties such as record-keeping, equipment management, and correspondence. • Assist in transportation such as driving vans when needed.
Candidates must have a four-year degree from an accredited institution; must gain acceptance to King University's graduate program:
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mentor student-athletes
NCAA required learning courses
Valid US driver’s license
