Assists the head coach in the recruitment of perspective student-athletes as well as game-day and practice preparation.
Effectively assist in coaching a competitive swim program in a manner which promotes sportsmanship and integrity, ensuring compliance with all NCAA, Northeast conference, and institutional rules and regulations Communicates effectively and often with the head coach and the student-athletes Establish and maintain good personal relationships with student-athletes and staff Assist in providing a supportive, encouraging, and challenging environment for the student-athletes Provide effective and corrective biomechanical feedback to the team, small groups, and individuals Ability to work weekdays – early mornings and/or early evenings, some weekends
Successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and previous swim coaching experience at the high school, club, or NAIA level.

Coaching philosophy and teaching concepts compatible with the Head Coach and Athletic Department’s vision
Ability to develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with student-athletes and staff
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
