POSITION SUMMARY The Head Tennis Coach is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Alma College's intercollegiate men's and women's tennis programs. This includes coaching, recruiting, budget management, fundraising, community engagement, and academic support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Lead the men's and women's tennis programs in practices, competitions, and off-court development. - Evaluate and recruit qualified student-athletes; implement a strategic recruiting plan. - Manage team operations including practice planning, match scheduling, and travel logistics. - Supervise, mentor, and evaluate assistant coaches. - Scout opponents and develop competitive strategies. - Monitor academic progress, retention, and eligibility of student-athletes. - Foster a culture of good sportsm
