Work Schedule: Variable shifts/variable days depending upon playing schedule, recruiting demands and department events.

Salary: Targeted Salary: $55,000.00

Travel: 10-25% Brief Statement of Duties Brief Statement of Duties: Assist the Head Football Coach with all assigned duties associated with the Intercollegiate Football Program. Assist the Defensive Coordinator in organization and implementation of team defensive systems, practices and game plans.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education: Course work leading to a degree Certificate

Discipline/Degree Area: 

Required Specialized Training/Certifications:  Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
NCAA learning portal proficiency, or passing within one month of hire.
Possess a current CPR certification or the ability to obtain upon hire.

Required Minimum Work Experience:  Demonstrated successful defensive football playing or coaching experience at the collegiate or comparative level.
No prior involvement with NCAA major rules violations.

Knowledge of NCAA and conference compliance rules.

Ability to use various computer software applications to include video editing systems.

Ability to establish a good rapport and effective working relationship with student athletes, coaches, assistant coaches, administrators, college faculty and staff, alumni, professional colleagues, and the general public.
