About the Role

The Sporting Director provides vision, leadership, and oversight for the technical and soccer operations of Impact City FC. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a unified soccer philosophy, player pathway, and coaching methodology across all locations, while investing in Directors of Coaching and ensuring alignment with ICFC’s mission, values, and culture.

• Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement a unified soccer philosophy, curriculum, and player pathway

  • Develop, mentor, and support Directors of Coaching and coaching staff

  • Oversee coaching education, methodology, and technical standards across locations

  • Ensure consistency and quality across all soccer programming

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align soccer operations with organizational goals

  • Represent ICFC’s mission and values with families, staff, and partners

  Requirements

  • Personal faith in Jesus Christ and a demonstrated commitment to living out Impact City FC’s mission, values, and Statement of Faith in both conduct and leadership.

  • Proven experience in senior soccer leadership (Sporting Director, Director of Coaching, Technical Director, or equivalent)

  • Soccer coaching license or certification preferred (U.S. Soccer or equivalent)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead coaches, curriculum, and player development pathways

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills

  • Experience operating within structured systems, playbooks, and performance standards

  • Willingness to travel and maintain availability for evenings, weekends, and key club events
