Key Responsibilities:

• Facilities & Events:
  • Scheduling all athletic venues for teams, intramurals, external rentals, and events.
  • Communicating daily upkeep, maintenance, and capital projects for facilities.
  • Coordinating game-day logistics (security, setup, staff, emergency plans).
• Leadership & Staff:
  • Hiring, training, and supervising staff (professional, interns, student workers).
  • Providing sport oversight and support for coaches and student-athletes.
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and risk management plans.
• Strategic Support:
  • Assisting the Athletic Director with strategic planning, special projects, and achieving departmental goals. 
  • Serving as a de facto CFO for Athletic budgets and supervision.
  • Assisting with sponsorship outreach and communication.

Essential Skills:

• Budget management and financial acumen.
• Risk assessment and mitigation.
