Summary: The Head Coach of Women’s Volleyball works as a member of the LSUS Athletics Department managing the full range of tasks and responsibilities for the Women’s Volleyball program and team. Provides leadership and direction for the program and implements strategies to attract and retain qualified student athletes. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the LSUS Director of Athletics. This summary is not intended to be a comprehensive or all-inclusive description of duties and responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
LSUS values skills, experience and expertise. Candidates who have relevant experience in key job responsibilities are encouraged to apply - a degree is not required if the candidate possesses applicable years of experience.
Three years of coaching experience at the high school level or above.
Must be a hard-working, creative, and team-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
Three years of coaching experience at the NCAA or NAIA level
Strong professional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
