The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C), an NCAA Division III member conference, invites organized and committed applicants for the position of Assistant Commissioner. This position works remotely and reports directly to the Commissioner.

The C2C is a nationwide conference of public and private institutions that delivers a unique, destination-based championship experience, providing student-athletes access to NCAA Championships. The conference values diversity, inclusion, and opportunity, representing a league without geographic boundaries.

Beginning in the 2026–27 academic year, C2C member institutions include Alverno College (WI), UC Santa Cruz (CA), Christopher Newport University (VA), Johnson & Wales University Charlotte (NC), University of Mary Washington (VA), Regent University (VA), Salisbury University (MD), and Warren Wilson College (NC).

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy for all conference-related content.
• Maintain and update the conference website, social platforms, handbook, and record book.
• Communicate effectively with conference athletic communicators, coaches and administrators.
• Administer conference awards programs via PrestoSports platform.
• Travel to and provide administrative support for conference championships.
• Lead and engage the C2C Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Prior experience in intercollegiate athletics—particularly within a conference office, sports information, or athletics administration—is preferred.
• Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and digital communication skills, along with excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently with discipline, effectively manage multiple responsibilities, and perform well under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with NCAA Division III rules and regulations is preferred.

Timeline & Compensation

Salary: $40,000 annually. No benefits package included. This is an NCAA Division III Strategic Initiatives Grant funded position.
