The Assistant Coach/Technical Coordinator will assist the Colorado Volleyball coaching staff in the recruitment, training and development of volleyball student-athletes. Specifically, this position will coordinate the film, video and statistical analysis efforts for the Colorado volleyball program in both the practice and competition settings.
This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department’s Mission Statement, Diversity and Inclusion Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Pac 12 Conference and the NCAA.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Film and be responsible for statistical analysis during practice and competition:
Present at any and all practice opportunities to film and record statistical data for use in training and evaluating athletes. Oversee the packaging and dissemination of film clips to both staff and players. Present at any and all competitions to record statistical data for the coaching staff and provide real-time information and analysis.
Assist the coaching staff in recruitment and team training:
Assist in practice planning, facilitating drills, and instructing student-athletes on individual techniques and the development of team systems. Assist in identifying, evaluating, and recruiting prospective student athletes to the program.
Coordinate film and scouting efforts for competition:
Assist the coaching staff in preparing film and analysis of future opponents for dissemination to players.
What We Can Offer
Starting salary is $63,000.

What We Require
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience with and demonstrated proficiency in the use of Datavolley and/or Volley-station statistical software.
