Position: Assistant Commissioner for Championships and Sports Administration
The Sun Belt Conference is accepting applications for a qualified Assistant Commissioner for Championships and Sports Administration. The position would begin August 2025. The Sun Belt Conference offices are located in New Orleans, LA.
Primary Responsibilities
Execute the planning, management, coordination and administration of Sun Belt Championship events.
Coordinate with the host institutions and neutral sites regarding aspects of championship events, including but not limited to preparation of host and championship manuals, on site visits, event signage, awards, merchandise, marketing and branding initiatives, hospitality, hotels and transportation for staff and officials.
Assist with the preparation and administration of coaches’ meetings and conference
