As a FIU Graduate Assistant, you will help us build a better world for our student athletes. FIU is currently accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for Softball team. The Graduate Assistant will assist the Head Coach in managing, mentoring, and leading the women’s softball team in practice, travel, competition, and daily activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Support the University's mission and athletic departments core values
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of NCAA Division I, Conference USA, and FIU
•Assists in the day to day functionality of the softball operations program.
• Assist in scheduling of team functions, practice, workouts, and travel
• Assist in the recruitment process of future student-athletes
• Travel with the team to away games
• Assist in driving the team members if they are unable to transport themselves
• Assist with various in-office administrative duties
