QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

Experience and Training

• Minimum 1 year experience in collegiate athletics or similar experience
• Turf management experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

• Proficient in use of MS Office products and the internet
• Problem solving, organization and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

• Assist in the scheduling and supervision of daily operations of all athletic facilities which includes the Millis Center, Williard Stadium, Vert Stadium, Steele Center, and Qubein Center
• Assists in coordinating maintenance of all athletic venues
• Assists with special facility projects
• For assigned sports, schedule and supervise all event staff for home athletic contests; assist with other events held at the athletic venues
• Plan and manage logistics for all home athletic contests for assigned sports, to include security, parking, hosting officials, facility supervision and all student workers for event management
• Manage assigned visiting team arrivals
• Update visiting team, fan, and officials guides and coordinate distribution to required parties
• Supervise, hires, and trains 15-25 student workers for event management
• Manages expenses within budget for assigned sports
• Maintains positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with students, students’ parents, faculty, co-workers and managers
• Other duties as assigned
