Position Summary: Assists with the management of all aspects of the sports medicine program and athletic training room operations.
Essential Functions of the Job:
1. Assists with the prevention, assessment, care, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries to student-athletes in all sports programs. (70%)
2. Assists with arrangements for injury and illness treatment by team physicians or other physicians as necessary. (10%)
3. Assists with the maintenance of complete, accurate and detailed medical records for all student athlete injuries. (5%)
4. Assists in coordinating the master schedule of athletic training room staff and coverage. (5%)
