The Boys Director of Coaching is responsible for cultivating a love of the game and providing an environment that creates a positive culture and promotes coach and player development. The Director will be responsible for providing continuity for the overall soccer experience for players, coaches, and parents consistent with the Club's mission and vision. The Boys Director of Coaching is a full-time, salaried position for Oklahoma Celtic.

• Work directly with the Academy Director and Recreation Soccer to facilitate the transition of players from recreational programs to academy and competitive programs.
• Communicate with soccer community (parents, players, other clubs & organizations)
• Implement the Oklahona Celtic curriculum for the competitive boys program.
• Observe and evaluate coaches sessions as appropriate, offering guidance where necessary.
• Provide support to coaches to improve player development.
• Conduct coach's meetings
• Assist with player and coach recruitment.
• Intermediary and facilitator of media public relations articles for the Club; reviews and approves content; functions as a point of contact for programs.
• Provide a bi-annual assessment for all the competitive programs to the Executive Director.
• Represent the Club at functions, meetings, and events as directed by the Executive Director, or the Board of Directors.
• Recruit teams for tournaments and friendlies.
• Submit reports to Executive Director for monthly board meetings.
• Communicate with Executive Director, Office Administrator, Academy Director, Girls Director and Reacreational Director, as needed.
• Plan and evaluate soccer development and make effective public presentations
• Provide formal evaluation of the Club's Competitive program annually
• Participate with Technical Leadership to select and manage all coaching staff
• Provide soccer expertise to support club marketing, sponsorship, and business pursuits
• Provide staff development opportunities through educational clinics, game analysis, USSF/NSCAA courses, Competitve coaching education clinics, and Help determine minimum standards for each coaching level
• Schedule and coordinate train/evaluation activities
• Organize and conduct staff meetings
• Liaison with parents/players
• Manage day-to-day operations, including preparing game/training schedules, ensuring minimum game-day requirements, reporting game scores, coordinating club scouting, and meeting all NYSA annual program requirements
• Assist NYSA administrator in overseeing uniform and equipment distribution, preparing player, coach, and team registration, coordinating team and staff.
• Assist in creating the annual Competitive program budget and expense reports
• Attend required meetings
• Participate in all club programs
