The Field Hockey Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator supports the head coach in the planning and operation of the Cornell Women’s field hockey program. This includes assisting with practice and games; preparation as assigned; evaluating performances and making recommendations to the head coach regarding individual participation in games. The Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator looks to identify, encourage, and evaluate application and acceptance of student athletes at Cornell in accordance with Ivy League, NCAA and University policies as assigned by the head coach.
This is a 12-months per year, full-time position.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with up to 1 years field hockey experience (coaching or competitive collegiate playing) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven success and potential in coaching, recruiting, and in working with student-athletes.
Highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic and a relentless recruiter.
A valid driver’s license is required to perform recruiting responsibilities.
Knowledgeable of NCAA rules and regulations.
Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
Preferred Qualifications
2 or more years of successful NCAA coaching experience.
International coaching and/or playing experience.
Proven track record of using SportsCode, Polar Team Pro, and the Apple EcoSystem.
