The Head Women’s Gymnastics Coach is responsible for the overall success, performance and conduct of the women’s gymnastics program. The Head Women’s Gymnastics Coach is responsible for supervising, planning, scheduling, and coordinating all activities that fall within the program. The Head Women’s Gymnastics Coach is responsible for creating and maintaining a high standard of program excellence including recruiting high-level, academically-skilled student-athletes; development of the team/players, team culture, coaching, supervision of staff; management of the program’s budget within established limits; scheduling of contests; and public relations/alumni and donor relations. The Head Women’s Gymnastics Coach is responsible for conducting all duties and activities with integrity and the rules of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), and the Midwest Independent Conference (MIC), the State of Illinois, Illinois State University, and the Athletics Department.
1. Bachelor's degree. 2. Proven ability to recruit, train, develop, and retain high-level gymnastics student-athletes to achieve competitive and academic success. 3. Prior collegiate-level gymnastics coaching experience.
