New Jersey Institute of Technology, a NCAA Division I institution and a member of the America East Conference, is accepting applications for an Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach/Offensive Coordinator. Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach will aid in all aspects of organizing, preparing and conducting individual and team practices and game preparation. Assist in the evaluation and recruitment of qualified prospective student-athletes. Assist with contest scheduling, team travel, and the purchase of equipment and team apparel. Additional responsibilities include monitoring player development and supporting the academic advising efforts of The Learning Center. Establish and maintain effective relationships with NJIT Alumni, and represent the program at various institutional and community events. Aid with the overall coordination and administration of the program. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics.

Prerequisite Qualifications:   

Bachelor’s degree required.   A Master’s degree is preferred.   A minimum of 5 years collegiate coaching experience.   Knowledge of NCAA rules is required.   Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to student athlete welfare and athletics excellence in a rigorous academic environment.   Must be First Aid, CPR/AED certified.  Must have a valid driver’s license.
