Responsibilities •Create social and recruiting content that is consistent with the Middle Tennessee Football brand •Assist with the upkeep of the yearly content creation schedule. •Assist with on-campus recruiting events such as official visits, unofficial visits, gameday events, etc. •Collaborate with other members of the creative services team or other external areas to ensure all content needs are met across the organization •Set-up and operate video recording, audio, and lighting equipment, in-studio and on location which includes the production of in-house and recruiting photo and video shoots •Collaborate closely with team members to capture and distribute content to student-athletes, coaches, and staff. •Work outside regular business hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required • Portfolio requested with application • Job is contingent on admission into a MTSU graduate program and the completion of a successful background check • Candidates must be enrolled full time (input hours) • Highly energetic and passionate about football and the creative content industry • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and best practices • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Capable and willing to work long hours, including nights, weekends and holiday breaks • A team player who collaborates well with others (content creators and stakeholders) and respects the organizational reporting structure.
Preferred Qualifications: • Must be passionate about your creative craft and the environment that comes with working with a collegiate athletic program. • Prefer proficient knowledge of graphic design, photography, and video editing/production • Prefer previous experience in sports industry and ideally in college athletics • Proven proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite for photo and video editing is strongly preferred. • Familiarity with Sony equipment is strongly preferred.
