The position is designed to provide an opportunity for individuals to gain experience in the field of athletic academic advising. Assistant Academic Advisors will create a supportive, positive atmosphere for student-athletes while monitoring their academic progress, identifying academic strengths and areas for improvement, and crafting a personalized holistic plan for collegiate success. In collaboration with advisors, learning specialists and other academic staff members, this position will help develop student-athlete autonomy and self-efficacy. This is an eleven-month commitment.
