Two-year position beginning in Summer 2025 includes tuition reimbursement, and a $10,000 stipend per year plus summer hourly wage.

Basic Function:
Assist in the planning, development, and dispersal of creative video and graphics to social media and other outlets to showcase the Kent State football team. Reports to Assistant AD, Football Operations.
Examples of duties/essential functions:
Create and produce graphics for social media, print materials, etc. to promote Kent State football
Independently managing videography and editing for video productions and presentations
Oversee and run photo shoots and be available to photograph team practices, events and games
Providing video camera operation for single and multiple coverage and lighting for video projects.
Promote Kent State football through use of social media.
Provide functional guidance of support staff, students, or other employees who work on a project or assignment
Setting and striking of studio and field productions, performing technical tasks related to video production, photography and grapics, including transporting production equipment, and overseeing studio operations and equipment maintenance and repair.
Editing video, selecting music and designing digital video effects and graphics in order to create a finished product.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree required. Experience in graphic design, photography and videography. Knowledge of football, sports as well as social media and design trends. Must be admitted to graduate school at Kent State.
Preferred: Degree in Degigital Media, Journalism, or Communication.
Knowledge Of:
Knowledge of field production techniques, standards and skills in visualizing and shooting concepts.
Hand-held camera expertise and use of camera stabilization and support equipment such as C-Stands, Gimbal, sliders, etc.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, especially)
Strong project/time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability To:
Work nontraditional hours, including evenings and weekends. Travel with football team
Preferred: Degree in Degigital Media, Journalism, or Communication.
