The assistant coach for defensive line is responsible for assisting the defensive coordinator and head coach to implement and direct all phases of a competitive NCAA Division III football program at DePauw University. This includes recruiting quality student-athletes, organizing and planning practices and game strategies, scouting, coaching, scheduling, budgeting and planning team travel in compliance with University, conference and NCAA rules and regulations. The assistant coach for defense also provides leadership in the personal, academic, and athletic development of student-athletes. Based on the skills and talents of the individual, a secondary assignment within the athletics department is assigned.
