Miles Community College is seeking a full-time Head Women’s Basketball Coach. The coach is responsible for organizing, directing, supervising and administrating all phases of a NJCAA Division I women’s basketball program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruitment of qualified potential student athletes, budget preparation and management, supervision of part-time assistant coach, directing practice and conditioning sessions, in game coaching, participation in department fundraising activities, participation in department community outreach initiatives, adherence to all NJCAA, MonDak Conference and MCC policies and procedures.
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
Qualifications: This position requires an Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level. Proven skills in working with athletic club boosters, fundraising and working within a predetermined budget. Effective public and interpersonal communication skills are also required.
