The Head Coach of Football is responsible for the organization and administration of all aspects of the sport or sports activities including supervision, teaching and implementing skills and strategies, recruiting, budget development, scheduling, purchasing, facility maintenance, public relations, community outreach, and implementation of NCAA policies and regulations. Additionally, planning training sessions, analyzing team performance, and fostering a positive and competitive team culture.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. Experience:
One to two years previous coaching experience and/or training and competitive background indicative of the ability to coach successfully in a NCAA Division III liberal arts college environment. Related Duties:
Evening and weekend hours to include team travel, recruiting and scouting. Upholds and promotes the Mission and Philosophy of the University and the Sisters of Mercy. Preserves honesty and integrity in the professional affairs of the University; adheres to high standards of ethical practices and conduct. Work-Related Knowledge:
Working knowledge of the NCAA rules and regulations. (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered.)
