The Head Men’s Tennis Coach is responsible for leading all facets of the Men’s Tennis Program. This individual will understand the mission of the NCAA, Division III, Elmhurst University Athletics, and the role of an athletic department in creating a positive environment for student-athletes. For the right qualified candidate, the Director of Tennis position overseeing both men's and women's programs may be an option.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Organizes and operates an effective and competitive Men’s Tennis Program.
Coordinates recruitment of student-athletes.
Attends and participates in all team planning sessions with coaching staff.
Aids in the planning, organizing, and executing of all traditional season practice sessions for the program.
Conducts on-court coaching during intercollegiate contests.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of Elmhurst University, NCAA, and CCIW rules and regulations.
Adheres to NCAA compliance regulations.
Endorses and supports other sports within Elmhurst University Athletics.
Interacts with other university constituencies, as appropriate, and actively participates in their events.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
