ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: •Team members and coaching staff will strive to reflect the Athletic Department core values: Love for God, Love for Others, Integrity in Conduct, Excellence in Effort. •Mentor and disciple players •Assist with day-to-day program operations •Serve as the JV team head coach •Manage the program’s social media •Volleyball camp/clinic administration and organization •Other duties assigned by the head coach •Maintain a commitment to NCAA, Conference, and University rule compliance. •Report any NCAA, Conference, and University rule violations to the compliance coordinator. •Understand that violations of NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. •Help coordinate team and recruiting travel. •Help with the recruitment of prospective student athletes •NCAA compliance reporting to our Director of Compliance •Oversee team equipment ordering and inventory?
QUALIFICATIONS: •BA Degree required •Previous coaching experience (collegiate experience preferred) •High character qualities: enthusiasm, dependability, creativity, motivation, flexibility and integrity •Ability to communicate and interact effectively with coaches, student-athletes, parents and others •Knowledge of NCAA DI or DII preferred (as athlete or coach) •Self-motivated with initiative and work ethic •Ability to work with limited supervision •Have access to/use of a personal vehicle
