Compensation & Benefits:
A compensation package for the selected candidate will include an annual starting salary between $40,000.00 - $44,000.00. Benefits include annual vacation and leave, medical and dental insurance, retirement matching, and other benefits in accordance with Atlantic Sun Conference policy. The Atlantic Sun Conference offices operate on a 5-day work week, allowing all staff to select one weekday to work remotely from home each week. Due to the nature of collegiate athletics, all full-time staff are expected to occasionally travel and be available during nights and weekends if necessary.

The Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) is accepting applications for the position of Director of Sport Administration.
Founded in 1978, the ASUN is a Division I Conference headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, that includes twelve (12) full member institutions situated across seven (7) states in the southeast region of the U.S. With nearly 20 million homes within its footprint, ASUN institutions are collectively on the rise, seeing record enrollment numbers and population growth while representing several of the largest markets and most popular destinations in the country.
The Director of Sport Administration is an entry-level full-time position that will report to the Senior Associate Commissioner for Sport Administration with a primary focus on sport management and championship operations. Responsibilities include:
Serve as the Sport Liaison for select sports as assigned, responsible for: sport policy; officiating; regular season management; championship planning and management; head coaches communication and meetings; other needs as required.
Under the direction of the Assistant Commissioner for Sport Administration, provide management of the conference awards program; the conference apparel and merchandising programs (in conjunction with the conference’s partners and licensing representative); and the conference signage and décor programs (in conjunction with the external team brand manager(s), creative manager(s), and conference partners).
Responsible for the planning and execution of select head coaches’ meetings.
Assist with the conference championship bid process.
Administrative duties include support for all areas of the Sport Administration Department; management of ASUN Sport Policy Manuals and Championship Manuals; management of the Annual Championships Calendar; and research projects and data collection/reporting as assigned.
Alternate and/or additional duties as assigned by the Commissioner.
