This position will serve as the athletic trainer for men’s basketball and will work as part of the Sports Medicine team to facilitate the care of student-athletes.
Responsibilities include evaluation of illnesses, injuries, and course of action. Assist in coordinating appropriate medical personnel coverage and travel with assigned teams for away competition. Serve as a liaison for the medical care and well-being between student-athletes, coaches, physicians, healthcare providers and sports medicine staff. Update and maintain accurate medical records for individual student-athletes including medical history, physical exam forms, daily injury reports and progress notes. Responsible for the operation and implementation of preseason physicals.
Master's degree, BOC certified, Indiana License or ability to obtain, CPR/First aide certified.
