Position Summary:
Applications are invited for consideration for the position of Head Baseball Coach at Yeshiva University. This is a part-time position responsible for all aspects of leading an NCAA Division III baseball program and member of the Skyline Conference.
Position Responsibilities:
This includes but is not limited to:
Recruitment of prospective student-athletes
Student-athlete development
Holding annual tryouts and run practice sessions
Supervision of assistants
Scheduling
Purchasing of equipment
Monitoring the academic status of student-athletes
The head coach will also be responsible for working with athletics staff to support and uphold the philosophy, goals and mission of both the university and the YU athletics program
Experience & Education Background:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum two years of collegiate coaching experience preferred, or three years at the high school or club level
Skills & Competencies:
A commitment to knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations
A commitment to working closely with the department's recruiting coordinator on identifying and building relationships with Yeshiva High School and international recruits
Demonstrated ability to establish good rapport and effective working relationships with student-athletes, coaches, staff, and alumni
Ability to work nights, weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule
Salary Range:
$13,000-$15,000
