The Ole Miss Athletics Department is seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to serve as Assistant Director of Athletics Communications. This position develops and executes media plans to generate support for promotion of the following programs: Women's Basketball and other sports as assigned. The incumbent manages digital platforms, cultivates and manages media relationships, and develops original story ideas and feature articles.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
AND
Two (2) years of experience related to the above described duties.
Substitution Statement: Related experience may be substituted for education, on a basis set forth and approved by the Department of Human Resources.
