Physical requirements and working conditions:
Light work with some physical demands such as continuously lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds, but rarely moving more than 25 to 50 pounds.
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements. May be exposed to loud noise and or varying weather in game day environments.

General Summary
Responsible for all creative video projects and production efforts for the athletic department. This position will oversee the idea development, creation, and production of all video and digital content, including live streams, social media and video board content. This position will create, shoot, produce, direct, and edit video content to represent and grow the Bronco Athletics brand.
Major Duties
Oversees all creative media initiatives for the athletic department. Guide members of the creative team to create engaging video content for social media, live streams, and in-venue displays,
Creates high-quality, compelling videos to expand the Bronco Athletics Brand. Responsible for the creative and visual storytelling direction for all video projects, including but not limited to intro videos, commercials, videoboard, live streams, highlight videos and more.
Partners with other external team members (marketing, strategic communications, and sponsorship) to meet the department's goals while creating high-quality videos and other content.
Develops content calendars and plans for athletic-related media, including but not limited to press conferences, live streams, and social media content. Creates stories and content for all live stream events.
Determines appropriate budget allocations of chosen initiatives. Assists with contracts, equipment purchases and software purchases.
Supervises and provides direction to staff.
Ensures compliance with NCAA, MAC, NCHC, MVC and Western Michigan University policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Two years’ relevant experience.
Experience working live sporting event broadcast, video production, or content creation.
Knowledge of the broadcast process, including an understanding of cabling, broadcast audio, camera operation, replay devices, broadcast switchers, and computer-generated graphics.
Experience with electronic news gathering cameras and non-linear video editing software.
Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and social media platforms.
Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to travel.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in film, communications, digital cinema, journalism, or broadcast media from an accredited institution.
Three years’ relevant experience.
Experience directing and/or producing a sports broadcast.
Experience using ENG Cameras and NLE software (Adobe Creative Suite).
