The Lebanon Valley College Department of Athletics seeks a head strength and conditioning coach. The head coach is responsible for the development and implementation of performance enhancement, sport-specific conditioning, and injury prevention programs for more than 500 student-athletes while simultaneously managing the daily operations of the College’s fitness center.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in physical education, kinesiology, exercise science, health science, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred, a minimum of three years strength and conditioning coaching experience preferably at the collegiate level, current CSCS certification or equivalent certification required, certifications by Functional Movement Systems, National Academy of Sports Medicine, and/or American College of Sports Medicine preferred, availability for weekend, evening and holiday work as needed, excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task successfully, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the capacity to deal effectively with a wide range of constituencies. This is a 10-month, full-time position, working annually from August 1st -May 31st.
