Job Summary
The football equipment manager assists the head coach with managing day-to-day uniform, apparel and equipment functions of the program, including, but not limited to uniform/apparel ordering, equipment management, and any other area of responsibility.

Job Responsibilities and Execution
Oversees day-to-day uniform, apparel and equipment functions of program
Inspects/maintains all player gear-related issues
Compiles and maintains inventory and manages team budget for all program equipment
Reviews and analyzes team uniform, apparel and equipment needs
In conjunction with the head coach, prepares order forms and processes required documentation for order and purchase of uniform, apparel and equipment
Assists with game uploads (home and away)
Serves as the primary liaison to the Under Armour and CCM representatives (and any other vendor) for all uniform, apparel and equipment ordering and issues
Service Excellence
Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University’s values – integrity, dedication, excellence, creativity, and teamwork
Assists with monitoring and support of student-athletes in the areas of financial aid, housing, and meal arrangements
Anticipates and proactively addresses all logistical needs of the program
Communication, Teamwork, and Collaboration
Serves as the main staff contact for Centene Ice Center for any equipment related storage or machinery issues
Serves as the primary liaison to the University’s Athletics Business Office for all uniform, apparel and equipment ordering and payment
Collaborates with Student Support Services to ensure student-athlete health, safety, and well-being
Job may require other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
Bachelor’s degree
Playing and coaching experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – May be representative, but not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this job competently.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
Ability to use discretion and sound judgment
Proficient with video technology and software used to record/review game footage
Extensive knowledge of NCAA and CHA rules, policies, and procedures, including, but not limited to those rules related to non-coaching staff members with sport-specific responsibilities
