The Sports Turf Management Assistant will work with the Sports Turf Manager in performing the daily operations of maintaining the Barnhart Athletic Complex, specifically the Wendell and Vickie Bell Soccer Complex, Soccer Practice Complex, John Cropp Softball Stadium and Kentucky Proud Park. Duties include but not limited to assisted oversight of part-time employees; operating sports turf equipment; mowing, landscape maintenance; performing fertilizer sprays; synthetic turf grooming; preparing ?elds for practice and competition and communicating with coaches about weather and playing conditions. This position will also provide and perform daily tasks to support the Sports Turf Team and Operations Department.
The successful candidate must be able to work overtime when required, as well
