- Candidates must be able to teach proper technique and skill development in various aspects of softball. Candidates should have a complete and thorough understanding of softball and be able to instruct student-athletes in small group and one-on-one settings.
- Candidates should possess a strong working knowledge of college softball and trends in the game.
- It is desired that candidates have a thorough understanding of various facets of softball and are able to break down team and individual play. Candidates should have the ability to scout opposing teams and players.
- Applicants should be well versed and able to instruct student-athletes on physical health, team concepts and team building exercises, team development techniques and safety.
