The department of athletic training seeks an athletic trainer. Under the direct supervision of the head athletic trainer, the athletic trainer is responsible for assisting in the supervision and coordination of LVC’s sports medicine program; to include injury prevention, evaluation, management and treatment of athletic injuries, short and long term rehabilitation of athletic injuries, and education and counseling of student-athletes in regard to injuries and prevention. The athletic trainer is responsible for assisting in athletic related health care in consultation with and under the supervision of the team physician(s).
