Academic Services for Athletes connects to the University’s mission and that of the Student Learning Center, by providing holistic advising from orientation to graduation for Appalachian State University’s Division I student-athletes. The services provided allow and encourage students to develop necessary academic/life skills in areas such as time management, personal accountability, collaboration and goal setting. The program assists students in balancing demands of academics and athletics in a college environment.
