Essential Job Duties •Recruits student-athletes •Provides sport-specific instruction during practices •Coaches student-athletes during scheduled contests •Serves as primary contact for scheduling contests •Ensures a balanced budget •Monitors academic progress of student-athletes •Work to achieve and maintain roster goals set for by Director of Athletics •Makes travel arrangements for program •Provide Pool Maintenance and oversight of the daily chemicals and equipment •Help Assistant Athletic Director with hiring and scheduling of Lifeguards •Complies with all rules and regulations of the NCAA, GLVC, and SBU •Assists in activities hosted by SBU to facilitate recruitment •Works in cooperation with department member
