Thanks in part to the NCAA Strategic Alliance Matching Grant, the NEWMAC is now accepting applications for the Assistant Director for Championships and Governance. The Assistant Director for Championships and Governance will assist in all areas of conference operations with emphasis on championship administration and sports governance. They will manage all aspects of sports governance and championship administration for the NEWMAC's 20 sports. In addition, the assistant director will have direct oversight of all 17 sport committees, Athletic Trainers Committee and other committees as assigned by the Executive Director or Associate Executive Director.
