The Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Upper Iowa University reports directly to the Head Men's Basketball Coach and is responsible for assisting in the planning, directing, and evaluating all aspects and facets of a successful Men's Basketball program on the NCAA Division II level. Duties include, but are not limited to: recruitment of highly skilled and academically qualified student-athletes, monitoring academic progress and eligibility, and effectively analyzing and teaching the fundamentals skills and strategies of the sport. Directly assist in the planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating of practice sessions along with developing, implementing, and evaluating game plans and strategies.
