ASPSA Internship- Assistant Academic Support Specialist
The Assistant Academic Support Specialist intern will support the entire Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes (ASPSA) staff by providing professional level academic support in all areas of support offered by ASPSA. This will include duties and tasks in academic counseling, learning support, and tutor program management. These duties may include, but not be limited to the following:
* Meet with assigned student-athletes weekly to offer academic coaching in areas of study skills, time management, monitoring eligibility standards, and developing academic support for students by designing individualized academic plans. * Conduct daytime and evening study sessions with individual and/or small groups of students. * Compile reports (independent study hours, tutor schedules, academi
